My daughter started homeschooling in the early 90's. You are right..she caught a lot of flack...but she stuck and her 3 sons graduated. I am proud of her. On the other note, of more women and people buying guns and keeping the second amendment in tact...I am also proud of them. It takes a certain inner strength to stand up to bullies..thats what I think anti 2A people are....and their minds and hearts need to be changed. They need to understand our 2nd amendment rights are very important to keeping us a free nation. Your heartfelt article is really inspiring!
I am meeting more and more people that understand and agree that our Government needs to be rebuilt from the ground up with our Constitution framing the entire rebuild. The record amounts of guns sold in the last two years, especially to minorities and women, bodes well for the acceptance of firearms in everyday routines. Yes, I believe we will return to the time when guns will be allowed to be carried concealed without a license nationwide. It may take time but eventually Constitutional Carry will be the law of the land. I can only hope that after some initial bumps in the road that a more polite and respectful society will be the end result. May God bless the USA.
Iiwas one that was on the opposite side of this mindset. There was someone in my family that engaged me in one of these discussions, and introduced me to the world of gun ownership. I am a 5’2, 105lb, 64yr old female and one of the first time gun purchasers in 2020. I now own an AR-15 which I built, but I need someone like Brayden and the second press to encourage and equip me to spread this message of the 2A along. Thank you for all you do.
Well said C.S.... I agree 1000%. I live in Southern Wisconsin but work in the Socialist State of Illinois. My facility employs about 200 team members. About 30 of us are members of the "Beloit Rifle Club" (over 1000 members) ... with 12 different ranges (indoor and outdoor) there is something for everyone. We regularly invite co-workers to come out and shoot with us to shoot 22LR pistols and rifles. Once they are properly trained and then shoot... they are hooked!
Well written and to the point. I was one of those who asked Braden about speaking to the choir as I didn't know at the time, his plan or how these writings were to be presented to others of a different mindset. The last few articles have cleared up that question and I believe we are on the right track to not only regain our 2A rights but ALL of our rights as free Americans.
God bless each and every one of you and thankyou all for your never tiring service to myself and my countrymen.
I was refreshing to have an article written from the woman's perspective, and I totally agree with her, as I have commented on in other 2nd press articles. Obviously we still have a great many challenges before us as we looked at and listened to the comments of the president in his state of the union address. His biggest concerns were only on hunting deer with 100rd magazines completely ignoring the true intent of the 2nd amendment, self defense and to prevent and fight aggression both foreign and domestic I can only assume that this was an intentional omission with can give one the "perception" that the goal was to undermine that constitutional right as it might interfere with political parties "real" intentions. Let us be ever alert to the hidden agendas hidden in the rhetoric.
Unfornatuely, all we have to do is look at the destruction going on in Ukraine. They had very strict gun control, and the madman putin was very aware of that fact. And now all of the empty political words at this time are meaningless. Honest, Strong, well armed, God fearing people are feared whether by a neighborhood bully, or a global bully like putin. Be honest, stay strong, well armed and fear God, that is the path, Gary J.
As a second class amercan citizen, living under a no-second amendment right gubernatorial boot, I've used this venue to express my opinions. After becoming US citizens in 1921 we lost the 2nd amendment in 1951. I's been hell for law-abidding residents for all that time. Sixty two years is a long time. But we (law-abiding gun owners) are giving the good fight. So, you (residing in one of the 50 states) keep fighting. If we still at it... you must! There is an old saying (I brlieve it's from Spain) that claims: "Truth; like smoke, coughing and pregnancy; can not remain hidden for a long time".
So true the home school movement. We started homeschooling in 1993, rough start after clashing with the school they were going to. I own a heating company and took them to work with me and trained them. They have their own business now. My wife was anti gun, Wisconsin got concealed carry. I ask her if I could get my license, she agreed reluctantly. I tried to have her get hers but no. One day a friend who has his own range invited me to come shooting. I had my wife come along and introduced her to shooting with the help of my friend. She is so pro gun and shooting enthusiasts now she puts me to shame. She has gotten her friends involved as well. This platform works I have used the information I've gotten. Thank you for the great service.
An hour or two on the range does seem to have the magical power to convert a reluctant anti gunner into a gun enthusiast. Congratulations to your wife for becoming part of the firearms loving community.

Let it grow & pass it on. 👍👍
Excellent article.

It's a bit off-putting to read an article by C.S. Could you at least give yourself a pseudonym?
