Despot Trudeau

“One Canadian killed by gun violence is one too many. I’ve seen all too well the tragic cost that gun violence has in our communities across the country. Today, we’re proposing some of the strongest measures in Canadian history to keep guns out of our communities and build a safer future for everyone.”

-Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.

A politician with globalization inherently paramount to his agenda, Justin Trudeau navigates a "Public Safety" bandwagon directly into the Constitution Act of 1867. The bruised and rotten ultimatum for citizens safety has Trudeau pushing new legislation on gun control. As if Canadians aren't restricted enough, through the extremely stringent licensure, registration, and taxation already in effect.

Because of my penchant for firearm advocacy, the reinforcement of natural

abilities through the US Constitution and disdain of tyranny, one might question my opinion of "Stringent Gun Control".  Well, the obvious error of taxing and forced licensure of an enumerated right ought to suffice as examples of severity alone. These taxes, permits and licenses are not only enforced upon common firearms, but they also include Air rifles as well. Let's not overlook that in 1969 Bill C -150, allowing for a judicial warrant to search and seize firearms on the grounds of endangering the safety of society, or the "Canadian Red Flag law of 1969".

Since 1934 handguns have been registered to the Canadian government. Bill C-150 also legislated categories of firearms into, "non-restricted"; "restricted" and "prohibited", automatic and short barreled firearms being prohibited. In 1977 the firearms acquisition certificate, or FAC, mandates that to purchase any common firearm a background check must be passed to acquire such said certificate. FAC's are immediately denied if the application pertains to self-defense, apparently defending oneself is a privilege in Canada. Starting in 1991, Bill C - 17 added a month waiting period and mandatory "Safety Course" on to the FAC, with additional magazine capacity restrictions, prohibiting "paramilitary" firearms and changes to legislative firearm definitions. C - 68 starting in 1995 brought about a "centralized registry" replacing the FAC and Canadians were forced to record all firearms to the government, regardless of prior clauses. C -68 banned .25 and .32 caliber handguns, banned handguns with a barrel length less than 4.134 inches or 105mm, implicitly to be utilized for "sporting" purposes only.

While campaigning in 2019, Justin Trudeau promised to ban "military grade weapons". After the rampage of Gabriel Wortman known as the 2020 Nova Scotia attacks, Trudeau didn't let this tragedy go to waste and enacted his prohibition. He announced that over 1,500 firearms become classified as "prohibited", the Canadian equivalent of "assault weapon ban", an AWB, or "military grade weapon ban". For the last 2 years Canadian citizens could own such semiautomatic rifles but could not "use" them for any purposes whatsoever.

Overnight, Canadians were stripped their right of true ownership and left holding very common and expensive curios, however as of May 30th, 2022, they now know the governmental expectations. Bill C -21 "allows" for a "buy-back", the Canadian government will offer "fair" compensation for firearm confiscation.

C - 21, with no doubt, defines Draconian legislation. This Bill brings forth the harshest gun control measures to Canada in decades. Not only does it justify the confiscation of rifles arbitrarily, but it also implements legal precedents to prohibit and confiscate handguns as well. Trudeau and his global "cooperation" will not be happy until no citizen owns any firearms, anywhere.

A direct quote from the Prime Minister's website: "These new measures include:

Implementing a national freeze on handguns to prevent individuals from bringing newly acquired handguns into Canada and from buying, selling, and transferring handguns within the country.

Taking away the firearms licenses of those involved in acts of domestic violence or criminal harassment, such as stalking.

Fighting gun smuggling and trafficking by increasing criminal penalties, providing more tools for law enforcement to investigate firearms crimes, and strengthening border security measures.

Addressing intimate partner violence, gender-based violence, and self-harm involving firearms by creating a new “red flag” law that would enable courts to require that individuals considered a danger to themselves, or others surrender their firearms to law enforcement, while protecting the safety of the individual applying to the red flag process, including by protecting their identity.

In addition, the government will invest $6.6 million to help raise awareness of the new law and provide supports to vulnerable and marginalized groups to navigate the provisions.

In addition to this new legislation, the Government of Canada will require long-gun magazines to be permanently altered so they can never hold more than five rounds and will ban the sale and transfer of large capacity magazines under the Criminal Code.

These are the measures that chiefs of police, families of survivors, doctors, and advocates have been asking us to take, and they build on the many concrete actions we have already taken. The Government of Canada will work with provinces, territories, Indigenous communities, and municipalities to implement these measures, and will continue to do whatever it takes to keep guns out of our communities and make Canada a safer country for everyone."

The Canadian Liberal Party and its head, Trudeau, have unilaterally begun disarming the citizens of Canada. This clearly defines the term "mob rule" and "democracy", Canadians are not afforded a system of checks and balances. The Liberal party keeps railroading their progressive leftist legislation unabated. Is there any wonder actual Canadians coined the term "Bill of Privileges", first off Canadians had No Bill of Rights until 1960?  Secondarily, their masses dictate in entirety. The mob rules and the Canadian mob is Liberal. If I am mistaken, then what has happened to: "the right of the

individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property, and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law?”  Where is due process pertinent to semiautomatic rifles or this Handgun Freeze, let alone a Canadian's security of person.

"If the minority, and a small one too, is suffered to dictate to the majority, after measures have undergone the most solemn discussions by the representatives of the people, and

their will through this medium is enacted into a law, there can be no security for life, liberty, or property; nor, if the laws are not to govern, can any man know how to conduct himself in safety."

-George Washington, written as the 1st President of the United States of America.
